Zwischengesang zur allgemeinen Entspannung

Ach, was ist es schön, wenn die alten Herren melancholische Liebeslieder singen. Hier blickt Mr. Billy Joe Shaver mit "When the Fallen Angels Fly" zurück und nach vorne:

There's a story in the bible, about the eagle growing old

Auf welche Bibelstelle spielt er hier an? Meine NIV-Study Bible Concordance führte mich zu Ps 103, 5 und Jes 40, 31 als Referenzen. (So viel Adler ist da nicht in der Bibel, dafür aber umso mehr Turmfalke.)
